Great fun for the little ones – the Snow Fun Land directly at the Kirchheimerhof
This season, the Snow Fun Land – located directly at the Kirchheimerhof – will open its gates to our youngest guests!
First attempts at skiing, sliding down the hill on their bottoms, tobogganing or simply building a snowman – your little ones are free to try all that and much more at their own pace in our new Snow Fun Land, open to hotel guests only. The practice slope is situated directly next to the après-ski chalet “Groar Keusch`n” on the meadow in front of the Hotel Kirchheimerhof and offers everything that makes winter such a fun time for children: a magic carpet, a sledding track and a gigantic snow mountain guarantee plenty of outdoor fun for the little ones. Amidst our fairy-tale figures and surrounded by the magnificent panorama of the snowy mountain tops of the Nockberge National Park, the kids will grow confident on the slope from the very first day of their holiday.
Especially for children from the age of 3 who want to try skiing or snowboarding (beginners only), we have compiled great programmes on our new children’s ski slope with a magic carpet, situated directly next to the hotel. The professional ski instructors of the Ski- & Sportschule Krainer use the newest methods for teaching children the basics of skiing (up to snow plough level). Specially designed archways and a small tubing track guarantee extra fun while learning to ski. As soon as the kids have mastered the basics, they are ready to “move up” to the ski-school slope, located directly below the Hotel Kirchheimerhof.
Skiing is not hard – and at the Kirchheimerhof Snow Fun Land, qualified ski instructors make it literally child’s play. Enjoy your holiday and relax in the knowledge that your kids are being professionally looked after.

- Bobo Mini ski courses for children from the age of 3 (basics) from Monday to Friday, 09:15 – 12:15. Bookable upon request (separate charges apply)
- Bobo Mini private lessons for children from the age of 3 (basics) in the afternoon or based on individual arrangements (separate charges apply)
- Kids’ animation with lots of fun activities such as tobogganing, snow-man building, romping in the snow, snow-ball fights and much more with Christian, our kids’ entertainer. Boredom doesn’t stand a chance!
And for Mum and Dad...
And if Mum and Dad should fancy the idea of learning how to ski or snow-board, they can also book their first private lessons on our practice slopes with a competent private ski instructor: comfortable and easy, as the slopes are located directly next to the hotel!

Tuck in at lunchtime – at the “Groar Keusch'n” ski chalet
Believe us, by lunchtime you will be hungry. The rustic après-ski chalet “Groar Keusch'n” provides hearty lunchtime snacks for skiers of all ages as part of our extended half-board. With a view of the slopes, parents will be able to soak up the sun while the kids burn off some more energy at the Snow Fun Land. And afterwards, the SPA area makes the perfect destination for a relaxing afternoon for children and parents alike.

snow-biking!
Snow-biking, the trendy new discipline targeted at teenagers and
adrenaline junkies – lots of fun included!
After just a few minutes, even beginners will already be making their first marks in the snow and after a couple of hours you’ll be ready to go down any slope. However, to master this skill and make the most of your snow-biking experience, we recommend having a professional trainer show you the ropes – the instructors of the Ski- & Sportschule Krainer will be pleased to assist you. Please note that ski boots are required.
